Sovata
Sovata spa is situated on foot of the Ghiurghiului Mountains, near on the town with the same name, on altitude of 475-600 m. This was formed surroundings of the Bear Lake (46.000 mp) which was formed in 1875 being one of the biggest salty, heliotherme lake from Europe. In sommer time the lake’s water temperature is 40-50C on depth of 1,5-2 m. near the Bear Lake you could also find in Sovata other lakes too: Alunis, Verde, Negru, Rosu, Mierlei and Serpilor, but with a smaller dimension. Sovata spa is surrounded by hills Capela, Cireselu, Bechis, Dealul Mic and Mountein of Salt.
